HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY KEATON!!

Our friend Keaton had a super fun birthday party today! It was a farm theme, complete with a petting zoo and hayride! Macie loved all the animals, especially the pony.

Our first trip to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch was a wet one...

Lydia and April drove from Frisco, and when they left, it wasn't raining. By the time they got to Flower Mound, it was drizzling. Lydia and Macie were less than impressed... luckily they did not melt.

We celebrated Macie's Great-Grandma's 90th birthday over the weekend!! Saturday we had a big party for her - family and friends from near and far were there to help celebrate.

Macie's 2nd Birthday Party was today!! We celebrated with our friends and family at Kids Kastle Park. We had hot dogs and purple cupcakes. It was super fun!! Happy Birthday Macie!

Addison Grace Clay

Addison was born September 6 at 2:54 pm, weighing 7 lbs, 8oz, and 19.5" long. Congratulations Kevin and Christi!!!

Butterfly School

Macie's first day of Butterfly School was today. She had so much fun!!! She loves her teachers, Ms Heather & Ms Carrie. They had fun learning about the color red, apples, and circles. Their Bible Verse was "God created all things" John 1:3. They also made a cute flower in craft time and in chapel they learned about obeying your parents.

Grandma

Brenda Gail Mangus

January 15, 1946-August 4, 2007

Macie's Grandma, Brenda, passed away on Saturday, August 4. She was diagnosed with Crutzfeldt Jacobs Disease a week and a half earlier. CJD is a rare and fatal brain disorder. Brenda was one of the most caring, energetic, selfless women I have ever known... and I am so lucky to have had her for a mother-in-law. We will miss her everyday.

RHS 1997

My High School Class Reunion was this weekend!! We had such a great time. It was wonderful to see all of my buddies... and their babies!! We had a family picnic Saturday afternoon at the park. Saturday night we had a BBQ dinner. This is a picture from the park... I have lots more pictures to post from the dinner!

Cows, Donkeys & Fire Ants

This evening, Macie, Mimi & I took carrots to the donkeys in the pasture. It was all going well and I was getting some cute pictures, until... I look down at my left foot and it was completely covered with fire ants. Not cool. Macie loves the cows and will stand outside of Mimi & PawPaw's house and 'moo' at them. So I guess it was worth the pain and suffering I endured to see the joy on her face and get great photos. Or maybe not.

Strawberry Pancakes

So my very favorite breakfast in the world is my mom's strawberry pancakes. She has been making them for us for as long as I can remember. Everytime I go home to visit I always request them. I am so excited that Macie loves them as much as me! Now she asks MiMi for "cake" for breakfast too!

Las Vegas

We just got back from Las Vegas! We went with Matt & Staci - We had so much fun!!! We spent 3 nights at the Mirage hotel. On Thursday, we went to the Hoover Dam - that is where this picture was taken. Friday Steve and Matt played golf, while Staci and I shopped, ate at The Cheesecake Factory, and spent time out by the pool. Friday night we ate at the buffet at the Wynn hotel... we ate more Alaskan King Crab legs than we could count! But the best part was just being able to hang out with our buddies again! It was a super fun trip!
