Emory Girls Christmas Party

My mom hosted the annual Christmas party for all of my friends and their moms this year. We had such a great time visiting! I have known most of these girls since pre school... and we are all still very close friends. Our babies had fun playing together too! We really missed our friends who couldn't come this year.

15 Months

Macie turned 15 months old on December 6. She had her well baby visit that day, and Dr. Harpavat said she was doing great. She weighs 19 lbs (7th%tile) and is 28" tall (5th %tile).

Dallas Cowboys Christmas Party

Last night was the annual Dallas Cowboys Christmas Party - held at The Stadium Club at Texas Stadium. We had such a great time hanging out with all of our buddies from Steve's work!! The food was great - even better than the Cowboys Children's Party... We enjoyed lots of shrimp and sushi and the most wonderful desserts!

Steve stopped by yesterday on his way to the airport to tell us bye. He was headed to Atlanta where the Cowboys will play tonight. We are hoping for a win!! Lots of luck to the 'Boys!

Cowboys Children's Christmas Party

The Dallas Cowboys Children's Christmas party was last night! We all had a great time! Macie cried when she sat on Santa's lap... but I wasn't surprised after the experience at North Park. Macie loved eating mini hamburgers, mini corndogs & chicken nuggets (as did Steve & I). We also got to design our own Christmas cookies & cupcakes. Macie had a wonderful caricature drawing made of her, and one of Santa's elves made her a flower out of a balloon! The Dallas Cowboys organization really went all out to create a special night for the kiddos!

My lifelong friend Laura Kate, and her daughter, Abby, came into town this week for a visit. Macie and I met them at North Park today for a visit with Santa Claus. When Laura Kate and I were little our moms would take us , along with two other friends, Mandy and Anna, every year to North Park to see Santa and all the Christmas decorations. I still have the Polaroid pictures we had taken back in the early 1980's. Too bad our girls didn't enjoy Santa as much as we did back then....

A Major Milestone

A Day at the Park

We had a great time at the park today! We met Staci, Cade & Makynli at a park in Coppell for a picnic. Cade and Macie had a great time playing outside in the beautiful fall weather!

14 Months

Macie is 14 months old... and she is a very busy little girl She is learning to walk, learning lots of new words, and getting lots of teeth! She is constantly asking "what's that?" She says "dog" everytime she sees Lexie. Lexie's feelings are a little hurt because she will say "Trooper" (my parent's German Shepard), but won't say "Lexie". She has 5 teeth now... all of which have come in the last 2 months. She loves to eat and is enjoying trying lots of new foods. She is such a joy and so much fun!!
