always a good time at the Point Church of Christ... especially when there is an Easter Egg Hunt during Sunday School!

this year macie got to pick out her Easter dress...

this was the very first dress she picked up at the first store we went to. we both picked up lots more to try on, but this was still her favorite. even after looking at a few other places, this was still the winner. i think she did a great job :)

Spring Break

Doesn't this look like the perfect place for a Spring Break getaway?

This is the cabin that daddy stayed in for years at his deer lease. He is all fancy now with a trailer that sleeps 6... which is where momma, daddy, the kids and I slept. Guess where Steve and Rod got to sleep? :) Here is a link to more pictures from our weekend.

marshmellow mouth

so, macie made this really cute mouth at school, she was so proud of it. it had minature marshmellows for the teeth that she had glued on. adorable.... until lexie got a hold of it one day while we were gone, and ate all the marshmellow teeth.

Valentine's Snow

this is what it looked liked outside this morning!! schools in flower mound were closed, but coppell (where macie goes to school) was not... and since the valentine party was today, macie just couldn't miss school. the roads were not bad at all - i am so glad i took her...

...because look at her loot!! she came home with a ton of sweet valentines and candy! (which was NOT shared with lexie)

Pro Bowl

Doesn't this look like a postcard??? This is actually the view from our hotel room in Ft Lauderdale. We stayed at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort and Spa for a week getting ready for the Pro Bowl! We left a chilly Dallas on Monday morning... then later arrived in beautiful Ft Lauderdale where it was raining. By the time we were settled in our room and ready to go eat at Shooters the rain had stopped... and it didn't rain again until Sunday night! And since it did rain Sunday night, I decided to watch the game with some other wives at the hotel (thanks Laurie for letting us all crash in your suite!). The week was wonderful... really the hardest decisions I had to make was if i was going to the pool or beach each day... Steve had to work some - they had practice on Wed, Thurs and Fri... but by afternoon he was meeting up with me and the rest of the Cowboy crew at the pool! We ate at some wonderful places... Shooters, Charley's Crab, Cafe Martorano, and Anthony's Runway 84 and a few others... It was a super fun, relaxing trip... days spent reading on the beach, sitting at the pool with my girlfriends and going out at night!
