Macie's friend Jackson had a super fun birthday party at the Pumpkin Patch today! Lots of pizza, pumpkins, hayrides and cupcakes! So much fun!!
We were able to go on a hayride and not get stuck... can you believe it???

Ms. Tracy's class went on a super fun field trip today to the Pumpkin Patch! They played lots of fun games and had a Halloween Party too! We love Butterfly School & Ms. Tracy!
macie's class party is tomorrow... supposed to be at the pumpkin patch, if it doesn't get rained out. my friend kim and i are the party hostesses and i made these really fun treats!! they are rice crispie treats, dipped in chocolate and covered with halloween sprinkles. but i am such a dork, i can't stop there... i have to put them in halloween bags and tie curly ribbon around them...cute video of macie... except i turned out the lights at the wrong time!!! don't worry, she corrected me!

we luv halloween at our house!! macie baked this cake today... complete with halloween sprinkles of course! she was so proud!!!

through the month of September, Macie's Sunday School class has been learning about creation. last Sunday, Macie's class made the traditional "creation pillowcase." they have been making them at Riverside for years. next to the fish is a 'glow in the dark' moon and stars, macie's favorite part! 
Today was Picnic with Daddy day at Butterfly school!! Macie was soooo excited that daddy was coming to eat lunch with her... she has been talking about it for days!!

macie LOVES Fancy Nancy - especially the books. they are very cute and if you haven't read any of them, i highly recommend that you do. even if you don't have a 4 year old little girl. because they are just that cute. anyway, she got the Fancy Nancy Dress-Up game for her birthday (thanks Slater's!) and she LOVES it too! we all do. - even steve, who will pick out the blue accessories (boa, wand, purse, etc)... i guess it makes him feel more manly!!
mace and i went to the American Girl store today to do some shopping (but mostly admiring!). we LOVE going there and it is always a special treat to pick out something new for baby Kate!
macie has been asking forever to go to chuck e. cheese... after an awesome first week at school and a rough trip to the doctor this morning (4 shots!!) i totally thought she deserved a special treat. she loved it!!! was not a fan of the mouse himself (screamed when she saw him...) but loved the games and pizza and rides....
Macie had a GREAT first day at Butterfly School!!! She loves her teacher, Ms. Tracy and has lots of friends in class! She was so excited about Spanish class and the new word she learned (hola!) and loves Chapel with Mr. Wilson... she can't wait to go back!

Macie and I just got home from the Cowboys pre-season game against the Titans... so much fun, she loved every minute!
macie and i went to san antonio to spend a week with steve at training camp. we had so much fun... macie was so excited to see her daddy after a long 2 weeks.
macie loved the river walk... it was our favorite place to hang out when we were not at the alamo dome!!!
according to macie, the alamo comes with its very own set of monkey bars.
